THANKS TO OUR SPONSOR:

The opening of commercial crabbing season in Oregon, Washington, and California is delayed beyond the usual Dec. 1 start date this year because of a toxin found in crabs at some locations. It's a disappointment to Northwest consumers who enjoy Dungeness crabs at holiday meals, but crabbers say they're happy to play it safe for now and hope for tests to show the toxin is reduced enough for the season to open in the first weeks of December.
