Migrant College Program | Bridging The Budget Gap | Sandy Hook Parents

• A program in Malheur County attempts to help migrant farmworkers go to college. We talk to Ricardo Buenrostro, the administrator of the program at Treasure Valley Community College.

• The Cascade Policy Institute recently released an economic report that contains recommendations for bridging Oregon's 1.6 billion dollar budget gap, which includes pulling out of the Medicaid expansion and cuts to DHS and a PERS cap. We talk with Eric Fruits, who wrote the report.

• In 2012 Alissa Parker dropped her daughter off at Sandy Hook Elementary School, and less than 30 minutes later Emilie and 19 other school children had been shot dead. Parker's new book, An Unseen Angel, tells the story of her family's journey after that day. She and her husband Robert Parker tell us about hope, healing, conspiracy theories, and faith.
