• Frank Thompson is a retired prison superintendent from the Oregon Department of Corrections. Though he oversaw Oregon's only two executions in the modern era while on the job, he now opposes the death penalty. He joins us as part of our series of conversations about capital punishment in Oregon.

• Author and essayist Roxane Gay joins us to talk about feminism, politics, and her new story collection, "Difficult Women."
