As Oregon and Washington experience sharp rises in new cases of COVID-19, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown and Washington Gov. Jay Inslee have both enacted statewide restrictions on businesses and gatherings to slow the spread of the virus. But the rules going into effect this week have some key differences, depending on what side of the state line you're on.
With new restrictions starting on Wednesday and doctors blaming social gatherings for the COVID-19 spike, the basic rule state leaders seem to want the public to adopt is common sense.
