Jeff Thompson has been with OPB since April 2021. Before that he spent more than 10 years on the digital team at Portland TV station KGW.

He moved to Portland from Rockford, Illinois, (home of Cheap Trick!) in 2004 and graduated from Portland State University in 2008.

He’s been a news anchor/writer/reporter/editor in Portland since 2006.
