OPB's Amanda Peacher brings us the latest news from the community in Harney County and the continuing armed occupation of the National Malheur Wildlife Refuge.

We talk with the vice president of Menashe Properties, Jordan Menashe, about his company's recent six-month donation of a downtown property for use as a homeless shelter.

Frank Moore, the mental health director of Linn County Public Health joins us to talk about the need for a new drug rehab facility in the Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties.

And it's a whale of a wrap up to the hour, as we explore the modern-day relevance of Moby Dick with two local thespians who are doing productions inspired by the book: Scott Palmer of Bag & Baggage Produtions and Rebecca Lingafelter with the Portland Experimental Theatre Ensemble.
