Lyllye Reynolds-Parker is the namesake of the University of Oregon’s Black Cultural Center, one of the city’s most esteemed elders and the daughter of Sam and Mattie Reynolds, one of Eugene’s first Black families. She was a safe place for hundreds of UO students.

No. 24 Utah routs No. 4 Oregon, ending Ducks’ CFP hopes

Britain Covey returned a punt 78 yards for a touchdown on the final play of the first half, giving Utah 14 points in 27 seconds and a 28-0 lead, and the No. 24 Utes ended No. 4 Oregon’s College Football Playoff hopes with a 38-7 victory Saturday night.

After pandemic hiatus, UO marching band takes to the field Friday night at Autzen

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Oregon marching band hasn’t performed on a football field since the Rose Bowl in January 2020. Now, they have permission from Lane County Public Health to do pregame and halftime shows at Autzen stadium Friday night when the Ducks play the California Golden Bears.
